And you wait, keep waiting for that one thing

which would infinitely enrich your life:

the powerful, uniquely uncommon,

the awakening of dormant stones,

depths that would reveal you to yourself.

I Trust You

The basin at the underside of

my belly

has opened,

and the well there with

life-giving waters

drinks me in.

I draw myself into this well

and the well becomes me;

I enter a blossom swelling

to the size of a sun;

I embody the finest grain of sand

containing all the subtle beginnings of a universe

I plunge into this self

the I am

I AM
I AM

which resonates

with the voice of Water

and follows

the arc

of a sun beginning to rise

rise,

rise

on its course.

Is there any piece of eternity
to be held onto?

For any embrace I give to the

nature of things

is an embrace already
occurring

in my chest

behind the star of

my cracked-open

Sternum.
